Notably, this is often referred to as the “Pikachu” dial at first glance. However, for some reason, Rolex decided to produce two variants of the champagne Daytona dial for the same reference. One version features large black sub-dials (the “Pikachu”), while this version has slimmer black and champagne sub-dials. I have seen and spent time with both dial variants, and to be frank, I prefer the cleaner look of the “Diet Pikachu,” as me and my friends have nicknamed it.
